Mirai DAO Phase 2 (Q2 2023)

In Phase 2, we will enable the Mirai DAO’s membership system. At this point, owners of Machin NFTs will be able to join the Mirai DAO and start completing tasks and projects to earn Mirai RP.

We want to stress that a core principle of the Mirai DAO is for members to engage in and be rewarded for both creating and consuming. We understand that not everyone is interested in writing blog posts, recording podcasts, and hosting events. Some prefer to read blog posts, listen to podcasts, and attend events — all of which are ultimately still valuable to the DAO. After all, an educated and engaged DAO is a good DAO.

So, how could this reward model work in real life?

Imagine if a DAO member wanted to host a bi-weekly whitepaper study session in the Studio Mirai Discord. During the session, the host introduces a new blockchain project and breaks down the whitepaper for the audience. In this situation, the host may be rewarded with 15,000 Mirai RP while the audience members may receive for 1,000 Mirai RP each for attending.
