Mirai Heroes Phase 1 (Q1 2023)

At the time of writing (October 2022), the Studio Mirai team is putting the finishing touches on a preliminary version Mirai Heroes that is ready for ‘Alpha’ testing. In Q4 2022, we will commence Alpha testing of Mirai Heroes. Alpha testing contains critical features, such as gameplay and deck building, and is meant to ensure that our main features are on the best path before it is too late in development to course-correct. It is also meant to ensure technical stability.

The alpha release of Mirai Heroes will be off-chain. This means it does not utilize the blockchain for tracking card ownership and running the game engine. Once our users have validated that the core features of the game are working as intended, and are both fun and engaging, we plan to request CPS funding to fund the development of features that are not included in the initial alpha release, such as animations, card artwork, and on-chain functionality.
